Context

When we were asked to get involved with this project, it already had full planning permission, so most of the aesthetic decisions had been made. Our role was to take the project from basic plans to a buildable scheme though a precise set of detailed drawings that the contractor would work from and the building inspector would approve. In doing this, we focused on exposing the oak frame internally to maximise its effect with exposed structural posts and feature trusses that hang away from the partition walls.
